HSBC mortgage / personal loan holiday - what info do they require?

Heard today work is reducing hours and salary on a "voluntary" basis for everyone...in order to hold off redundancies.  I can just about manage to carry on making payments (savings etc..) but it will make things pretty tight and I'd rather hang onto some savings incase things get even worse job-wise.  What is the process for requesting a payment holiday:
a) looks pretty certain it won't affect credit rating - is this absolutely correct for personal loans as well as mortgages?

b) do they request all financial info like savings, other debts, payslips etc... or is a it a case of requesting it and giving the work reduction as a reason?

c) due to remortgage in 2021 and probably will stay with the same bank - is this likely to affect their remortgage decision negatively if all other factors stay the same?

Just incase anyone is in the same position, I bit the bullet and filled out the form - it just asks you to certify that you are being affected by covid-19 financially i.e. furloughed or asked to work less hours and HSBC don't ask you to provide any other documentation (for me, they will see my wages have been reduced to part time ones). It clearly states if they give you a payment holiday then it won't impact your credit rating and the unpaid interest will be added to the outstanding balance.  Nothing about you "borrowing" the money at a different rate as some people have commented.

So I expect to have 3 months x interest added to my outstanding balance and to pay this off over the remaining 20 years of my mortgage unless I decide to overpay when things are better.
