Lloyds credit card - positive credit balance

Hi all
Had a refund on my credit card and payment was taken today leaving me in a positive balance. It's not urgent so I don't want to use up the phone line at Lloyds Bank for people that need it, so just wondered if I can just spend the positive amount (instead of asking Lloyds bank for a refund) to take me back to zero balance?
I'm also in the process of applying for a mortgage also so wondered if this would appear on my credit report as something negative?
Thanks

You can always call them and they can charge it back to the current account linked with the card or else you can of of course spend it with any spend coming of the positive balance. Equally if your registered for the mobile app use the message button and once you get by the automated not the advisor should be an able to arrange a charge back0

Many thanks all. I'll just keep it simple and spend on there to get the balance back to zero. Its a tough time for a lot of people and I didn't want to waste Lloyd's resources on something fairly trivial when they could be helping those struggling at the moment. Appreciate the speedy responses.1

Hi all
I cannot find my original posting on here or my login so re registered. Just wanted to let you all know i complained to lloyds regarding this and they gave me £50 compensation. I use my card purely for airmiles and settle the balance in full every month long before the due date.
Thanks for the tips guys it was worth the fight.0 -
