I missed a payment last month and credit card company is saying I am not entitled to a payment holiday even tho' I am now laid off without Furlough due to changing jobs on 2 March. Are they right?

Whether they are right or not who knows?? ultimately they are the ONLY ones that can make the decision on whether you get a payment holiday or not, they have said no and that's what you'll have to work with.0

If you've broken the terms of your contract with them by unilaterally taking a payment holiday without their agreement then it's not a good time to be asking for concessions, and there isn't any such automatic entitlement anyway, but the FCA announced yesterday that companies are likely to be forced to offer such holidays by the end of next week:
