HomeServe Policy On an old Address

Hi, Just checking through accounts and we have realised that we are still paying for a HomeServe Boiler cover on an address we no longer live at. We are sure we notified them but cannot prove this. Can we get a refund if we prove that we no longer live at that address which was covered?? HomeServe are saying they can only cancel the policy from now with no refund.

There is no reason for them to give you a refund unless you took it out again. i is also quite common that they would have provided services as your new address even though they had your old one.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.2
