Advice needed

Options
Good morning, I was wondering whether anyone could give me some advice. I have looked and my credit score went down 44 points today! And it’s due to an American Express credit card being removed. Is it worth me calling Amex to have the account reinstated. I don’t use it but it obviously looks good on my credit rating! I’m really disappointed!!

Credit scores are mainly irrelevant , it will recover on its own or they are evaluating everybody at the moment and downgrading.

I think it’s because that card had a certain amount of credit available which formed my overall available credit. Now that’s gone I’m using more of my available credit which has made the score go down. So you don’t think it worth trying to reopen that account so that It can form a larger amount of my available credit so that my used credit appears less?

    Thanks!

No one sees your score or rating but you.
They react negatively to changes, be them good or bad.
Don't fret over it - there's far more important things to be fretting over than a drop in a make believe number.
