Closed bank account due a refund

Hi - I recently switched my Santander bank account to Natwest.  The switch is going fine, but I am due a refund from a holiday company - I paid with my Debit Card from Santander.  I realise that account is now closed - what will happen to my refund?  Will it go directly to my new Natwest account?  Thanks in anticipation of any replies.

CASS redirection continues beyond the initial three year period until there's a 13 month window within which no redirections occur....

I know CASS automatically redirects payments made into a switched account but didn't appreciate it would also redirect payments made to a debit card linked to the switched account. I had assumed such payments would bounce back to the payer. Can someone point me to the source of this?

Can't find a source for this. But know that it has done this since it 1st started. As some people get quite upset when a payment comes through on the old closed account and get passed to the new one.
Then get told you have to query it with the old bank.
