EWI has to be done right, and attention to detail is crucial. Of the houses in my area that have had it done, detailing around windows (bays in particular) look piggin' ugly. Often, the roof overhang is insufficient, so compromises are made to the detailing in that area. Some properties are not suitable for EPS/rendered EWI - Solid brick/stone being one. Shame Rockwarm have a stone built property as their lead "look what we have done".One point to bear in mind - The return on investment for EWI is very poor. You spend £14K or more and save less than £100 per year on heating.... The money would be better spent plugging draughts at the source and other more effective energy saving measures.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
