Options
Hi
I was hired a couple of months ago on a staff contract with 6 months probation. I started working on a project and was continuously working on it before another longer serving employee was put on it and i was sidelined. then i received a call and a letter that i have been put on furlough to avoid potential redundancy...what rights do i have...

If you want to resign then whatever terms are in your contract of employment, or one week's notice if nothing in the contract.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

The tragedy here is inside 2 years the employer can terminate without having to justify reasoning.

Bottom line unless something sinister like racist sexual discrimination etc you dont have much comeback .
