Can a Section 75 refund be re-debited

We’ve received a credit to our credit card account from the Flybe collapse (from tickets bought direct from their webpage) In a letter received today, it states that if their claim is unsuccessful then the transaction may be re-debited to our account. I am wondering if this is just a standard letter, or if they can do this. Thanks

A standard letter in that the refund COULD re reversed if the merchant complains and the card company believe the merchant rather than you. Unlikely in the case of Flybe !1

It will be a chargeback that has been done.
S75 is the last resort when a chargeback option is available.
Don't fret, the odds on them rejecting are very slim. Even if they did you still have S75 option.
