RM Delivery Confusion

I'm expecting a delivery to be made through RM, the tracking is a little confusing though, its recorded as "delivered" today, said its been scanned at a customer service point, and the day before it said "due for delivery today" but nothing came yesterday and nothing so far today. I have included below the tracking information and what it says at various points. Can anyone help?

At the top of the page it says - delivered, your item was delivered on 02/04

I had exactly the same with an item I purchased from Amazon Marketplace, which didn't arrive.  You should contact the seller and say Royal Mail haven't delivered the item.  The seller (as the customer of Royal Mail) needs to take it up with them.

Okay, yeah I will try that too. Just thought maybe they had scanned it at their office by mistake and there might be a chance of it arriving.

Its funny, because about five months ago I ordered a book which never arrived, and then suddenly the other day it materialised with a few letters. I was gobsmacked.

Item was due delivery on 1/2/20
It wasnt delivered for whatever reason (DOs are having to mitigate deliverys affected daily just now)
It wasnt scanned yesterday as no delivery was attempted.
It got a 'closure' scan today to avoid failing tracking QOS
Its still due delivery

Did you manage to get your parcel in the end? I'm getting the same message in my tracking aswell
