Covid Interest free overdrafts

Some lenders such as Barclays are making part or all of their overdrafts interest free for a period of time from April, no questions asked.
The question I would like to as, though, is whether using this interest free buffer (£300 or so for Lloyds group and HSBC, £1000 for my Barlcays overdraft) show up on my credit report and adversely affect my credit rating at all?
The main MSE articles talks about payment holidays not adversely affecting the reports, but I see nothing about overdrafts' impact either in the article or in the Barclays guidance.

Yes, it will show on your report as using available credit.

The FCA have today issued proposals, expected to be ratified in short timescales, that anyone using any such temporary concessions "should not have their credit rating affected because of this".

If I went into my overdraft last month, would I be charged in April or do the new rules around overdrafts only kick in this month meaning charges will start appearing on my statement from May?
