BankSmart- help please

I have been hounded by this company for atleast 12 months now regarding claims they allegedly  worked on on my behalf ..My details were sold on to them by a CMC i had successfully used in the past Ascend ..i have not recieved a single penny from them but they are billing me for over £1200!!!...One of the claims they  were working on for me was with Sunny. They claimed they were succesful but i had recieved nothing so wasnt going to  willing hand over bank details to Banksmart for a fee..   In the end I  contacted Sunny myself who advised to contact the FOS indepentendly . Banksmart continued to invoice me monthly and passed my 'debt' to a collection agency earlier this year .I have refused repeatedly to pay them anything .I have subsequently taken a compaint about Banksmart themselves to the Ombudsman..Currently this seems to be a mere  box ticking excercise with the investigator just confirming what was and wasnt sent to me  ..this  isn't filling me with confidence .. ...has anyone any further advice/experiences or help on dealing with this company?..I am unwilling and quite frankly financially unable to give this company a penny . Im  willing to fight this at every level as researching online it appears my story isnt unique ....HELP!!!

You may want to search the forums on Legal Beagles. There is lots of really useful advice and help there for dealing with BankSmart

I am spending the day reading and researching after feeling disatisfied with how the FOS are currently handling this ..I had skimmed through legal Beagles but will be looking more in depth over tthe next day or so .. just really wondered how other people had dealt with them?

Do let the Ombudsman finish examination of your case. 

If you instigate any legal proceedings before then, the Ombudsman case (which you may still win) will be stalled.
