  • Documents uploaded are now being dealt with in 8 days.  Barclays still saying 10 but last 3 cases have been picked up in 8.   Small victories!
  • That's good news! @Deleted_User
Can you advise when you uploaded documents just so I can compare to mine? (rekey uploaded 20 March (apparently done) mortgage declaration and proof of mortgage discharged on current property uploaded 30 March)

case offered yesterday from docs uploaded 25th March.    I also have another one with docs uploaded 30th so I am thinking it will be offered Friday this week or maybe sooner if they are catching up on work a bit
  • Thanks @Deleted_User
How long does it take solicitors to draw down the mortgage at the moment?
Is it possible to get an electronic copy of the offer to the solicitors to reduce time lag?

  • Sits in the same queue. So looks like 8 days at the moment
At a push you could get the offer faxed to the solicitors.  A very very small number of solicitors are set up for secure email apparently but I've yet to come across any so they may not actually exist
  • Thanks again! My solicitor is currently working from home so not sure how that works, but I'm sure something will have been arranged!

Small victories indeed. Do you know if yours were fast tracked or prioritised? I heard they would fast track those with exchange contacts etc.
I'm still waiting, now 10 working days since rekeyed. Hoping for an update tomorrow. This would be my first victory. Getting the completion and drawn down is then what comes after.
Here's hoping I get some good news on step 1 as if it falls down we are at a significant loss with deposit sent etc
  • Ouch! I'm currently on working day 8 after submittal of further documentation for my rekey (land registry mortgage discharge form).

My builder served completion notice yesterday so I am starting to get worried when Barclays will provide a new offer.

Realise that its a difficult time for everyone, but quoting 10 working days to check a 1 page document is ridiculous.

Just another job in the processing queue. Each one taking as long as it takes.
  • My case with docs uploaded on 30th was reviewed yesterday.   They are getting quicker.   Still sticking to their 10 day script but seems to be down to 6 or 7 days now
