Hi
I completed my IVA 18 months ago :) . Started Feb 2012. I have my completion certificate etc.
During the IVA a creditor sold my debt to Lowell Portfolio 1, this account is still showing on Credit Karma as a £1 balance but no defaults, all green ticks.
On Experian it is showing a £0 balance default date 12 April 2014
Opened:
12 Apr 2014
Defaulted date:
05 Jul 2017
Satisfaction date:
12 Nov 2018
Last updated:
09 Dec 2018
Should this be removed from my file next month or could somebody please explain why this company can extend the defaulted date by 3 years.
Hope this makes sense, I'm baffled
Thank You
Mark

you need to make contact with Lowell and get them to update the default date to be the start date of the IVA, once they do this the account will drop off your credit history. I suspect it's not malice but more human error at Lowells

as it stands it would only drop off July 2023, so definitely worth acting

    Thank you for reply.
Just as I read it. However on Experian it's showing green and settled. So I've drawn the conclusion that the different agencies don't all sing off same song sheet or update as regularly as each other.

the creditor has to update them all, sometimes they don't update them all correctly, or forget to update one
