You still haven't made it clear what you're getting at to be honest - comparing global multi-asset funds of funds with a specific geographic equities index is apples versus oranges. I was trying to emphasise that you should compare VLS against its peers if you're looking for some sort of benchmarking of its performance, but what is it that you're trying to establish?scroogemcduck2 said:Why is the default response on here always about trying make people who ask questions look stupid? Yes, my use of the word 'market' wasn't very specific. On the other hand, I did mention the S&P 500, so I don't think it's impossible to understand what I was getting at. And yes I know those funds are diversified across multiple countries.2 -
It depends on the compared dates. For example if we take the last month from 10th March the Lifestrategy 100 has slightly underperformed the Vanguard FTSE Global but if we take it from the low on the 23rd March then Lifestrategy has slightly overperformed the FTSE Global. Likely due to the higher allocation to UK (and therefore oil) stocks. Nothing really in itscroogemcduck2 said:Am I correct in thinking Lifestrategy 80 and Lifestrategy 100 have been underperforming the market since the crash? They seem to have recovered less of their losses than say the S&P 500 has.0
