Washed and sanded the handrails around my decking this morning.Staining them this afternoon. My village in the Lake District is deserted, with no sign of anyone moving around.I may travel around the village later on with my dog (if I close my eyes really tightly, I could pretend that I'm on the Pacific Coast Highway, looking out to sea).0

Took some supplies to my elderly parents, waved through the window, pretended they were waiving me off at the airport. Drove home with the window open, just like sea breeze, without the saltiness.

I had a walk through a local park. I thought for a moment about sitting on one of the benches but decided I'd better not. I wouldn't want to waste police time. 😉0

After disappointment at Tesco last Friday I ventured to Asda yesterday. Enjoyed standing with my trolley for 45 minutes in a queue (observing the 2m rule) that circled the car park prior getting through the doors. Marvelled at the assortment of rubbish and tat discarded around the edge of the car park by previous customers and the delightful smells that emanated. Living the life..0
