Integrated Dishwasher

Hi all,
After some DIY expertise. We bought a new build house but elected not to have a dishwasher installed at the time of buying. Now we would like to get one and the one that came with the house would have been integrated behind one of the kitchen cupboard doors.
I've taken the existing cupboard out and measured and everything is fine to fit the dishwasher in, but the door length is 73cm, whereas all the dishwashers say the maximum door length should be 71-72cm. What difference will it make if my door is 1cm too big? Will the door still attach to the dishwasher door?

Should be ok. When I fitted my last one I had to cut an opening long enough and deep enough on top of kickboard to stop the bottom of the door impacting on the top edge of the kickboard when opened.
Can only be seen on hands and knees.
