Has anything happened since then? If not, wait patiently for your appeal rejection letter.and ??did it offer POPLA or not ?why are you asking for answers without revealing all the facts of the case ?what does this law student say might happen within the next 5 years ?? ( if you go into IGNORE mode )0 -

No point in appealing to POPLA, as in a Scotland scenario only the driver can appeal, which falls neatly into the grasping hands of the PPC should they later wish to pursue via litigation in the courts in Scotland. But even if the driver was identified, the procedure for an England-based PPC to proceed through the Sheriff court in Scotland is more complicated than via the Small Claims Court in England/Wales (and more expensive). I can't see any PPC chasing £70 by paying out significantly more unrecoverable money to do so.Just ignore anything they further send, unless they are crazy enough to issue court proceedings. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
