Sealing around UPVC window

Hi
I hope all of you are safe and well. I have couple of UPVC windows where I need to seal around to close small gaps.

1. In bathroom where the window meets tiles.

2.in living room where UPVC Window sill meets wooden window board. Here's the photo link for 2nd situation.

I am inclined to use silicone for 1st and decorators caulk for second.

Any thoughts?

I would use silicone on both.  Personal choice but for me silicone leaves a nicer finish which is easier to clean off

I'd use silicone for both also. Decorators caulk can be painted over but if your joining white  UPVC to white wood with white sealant it won't matter.
