Mortgage/monthly rent question

When applying for a credit card, they normally ask about my salary, household salary and my mortgage/monthly rent outgoings. I'm not really sure what to answer to the "how much is your monthly mortgage" question. If the mortgage is in both our names and costs £900/month, do I put down the full amount? Or half? £900 is well over 50% of my take home income (and could thus impact my eligibility/limit), but is under 25% of our joint take home income. On the other hand, if I put down £450 would it could be interpreted as lying?

Given you've said that they're asking about your household income, which is fairly rare, put the full amount of the mortgage.
It will then also match up with your credit reports.1 -
Some ask for the total, some ask for your share.
If unsure just enter the full amount0
