in Credit cards
Good Morning,
I would like help on the following if possible.
We currenty have a holiday booked in a group of 7 people, We have all paid the deposit but my partner and I will probably pay it under credit card to be covered, would this cover the whole group or just the 2 of us, or would no one be covered unless the whole booking was paid under credit card?
Bascially We want to pay our with our credit card and if it gets cancelled etc we are both still covered. This is ATOL protected but took months after TC went bust to get money back.
Thanks,
Paul

It is likely that the others will not be covered as there is no direct link. However, section 75 is not the correct vehicle to cover that risk anyway - that is what travel insurance is for.1

Everyone should have their own travel insurance that covers them for this kind of eventuality.I may be wrong but I believe that if, say you paid for you and your husbands holiday on a credit card account thats in your name then only the cost of the holiday for you will be covered in event of a successful claim with your credit card company but not your husband?0

You won't get a refund on a credit card if it is ATOL protected. Unless ATOL state they are not paying out.BONNYMANP said:
