Furloughed

I got a contract of employment on 26th Feb and started work on 7th March will I be entitled to be furloughed ? If not what do I do ?

What did your employer say when you asked them?0

My understanding is that you had to be employed on 28 February for you to be eligible for the Furlough scheme and as you only started after that, that unfortunately you will not qualify. That's really tough for your circumstances, but this is what the government has put down as a hard rule.0
