My RAC recovery was up for renewal £138
Phoned them up to say I was going to cancel
I was told they had added extra bits to it, key cover, that I did not want
Told them I had seen an offer on facebook for rac and got quoted £90 for same service
Was given 14 months instead of 12 months
Talked to her a bit more, said I didn't really need at home
New price £85
Always pays to phone them up and talk

So you've basically got an entirely different policy for a different sum.  Well done.

Or, if you shop at Tesco, use Clubcard vouchers to buy a RAC policy.
£48 in vouchers, last month's renewal, for Roadside, At Home and Recovery. Personal, not vehicle specific too.

£85 is still a lot of money for the cover you have, try other providers.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Left the RAC for GreenFlag. Way cheaper and no haggling.   RAC increase the price every year and you need to phone
and haggle. Whether you get a good deal depends on who you get on the phone it seems.
