Extending Interest free period - Capital one

in Credit cards
I have recently finished paying off a DMP and have taken out a capital one credit card with 4 months 0% interest free credit. One this is up in 4 months time does anyone have any experience with negotiating a extension with capital one? In reality i will have nothing on the credit card in 4 months as i have larger than normal pay checks for the next 3 months due to bonuses and back dated pay rises but in these uncertain times the option of an interest free period beyond 4 months would be good to have. Due to bad credit it isnt as easy as just applying for another card provider.

It will almost certainly be unlikely that Capital One will extend the interest free period.
However, if what you state is true and there is no balance after the 4 months is up, as long as you pay each following statement in full and on time then no interest would be charged.0 -
Don't rely on a bonus - the Government is putting pressure on banks to not pay bonuses or dividends for the current season and companies in other sectors may well do the same in order to conserve cash - no bonuses and no dividends this year I think will be the situation.0

I work for a multi national company who may well do very well out of this crisis (make hygiene/cleaning products where demand has gone up significally) who have paid our management bonuses last month and the non management due this month. I would be very surprised given what i just said if our bonus was not paid. In fact knowing our systems they will have already been done.D_M_E said:Don't rely on a bonus - the Government is putting pressure on banks to not pay bonuses or dividends for the current season and companies in other sectors may well do the same in order to conserve cash - no bonuses and no dividends this year I think will be the situation.0 -
You wont get an extension on your interest free term, it will just expire and go back to your default APR.
