My son is coming to the end of his 2nd year apprentiship in plumbing and last week was temporarily laid off by the company he works for due to covid 19 , then today has recieved an email to say his contract has finished . Although the college he attends has assured him he can complete his 2nd year course work , he is without employment due to covid 19 . Is there any government help for apprentices in this situation . Thank you
