Banks should play a part in helping with COVID-19

All banks should play a part by stopping interest payments for business loans for the next 3 months to help companies with no staff and mounting cost due to business loans etc.. The government bailed them out when it was needed, it's a great time for them repay the favor. Out of all the companies, the banks will still be after their profit and don't want to be out of pocket. If they can take the stress off a business owner they might still be there at the end of this to carry on business as usual. This could go for personal overdraft charges too.

I think what we are seeing now is that attempting to help society as a whole by supporting business simply isn't working.
Help now needs to be focused on individuals as the trickle down from business owners simply isn't happening.0 -
Banks are playing their [normal] part. They are running their eyes over distressed companies looking for assets to pick up cheaply. They do this on behalf of their owners which in the case of RBS is 62.4% the government .
- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's and their rules apply.
