Flight refunds

On the 16th march I was due to fly to ireland. On the 15th the hotel called to say they are on lockdown so I could not go obviously. The only option Ryanair gave was to change date and I would have to pay the difference which was more than original flight or wait and hope return flight cancels. Is there anyway I can get any kind of refund.

There are a few current RyanAir threads running at the moment on this forum page. One in particular is quite lengthy and refund/rebooking options discussed. I would suggest you review those threads first and see if your question has been answered. If not then add to the existing thread and another MSE community member might share their experience and give advice.1
