Are Energy Companies still allowed to refer customers to Debt Collection Agencies?

    Just so you know it is the New Supplier who is responsible for determining the CoS reading which they pass to the Old SUpplier so they both use the same reading to close/open account. Did you provide your new supplier with a CoS reading? If not then they would need to estimate one.
    Also because the 2 readings are the same the only loss/gain will be the difference in unit rate between the 2 suppliers which is not going to be very much.
