Holiday booked for august

Hello I have a holiday booked through on the beach. Because of the coronvirus my husband is currently out of work (he is self emolyed) we can not continue to afford to pay for our holiday and even if it was seen as safe to go I do feel safe to go away. Does any one know what my rights are cancelling my holiday because of what is going on. They are maki g it quite difficult. Saying I have to pay for the flights and any extra eg transfers and what we paid oer person. I know this is thetr normal conditions, but Is there any info becsuse of what is going on. It's just we are finding it hard paying all other Bill's but they want over £900 from us.

Unfortunately, if it's in the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to, then you'll need to pay them what you agreed when you agreed.  If the holiday subsequently gets cancelled then you may get a refund. However if you have not payed what you should they may cancel the booking before that and you'd get nothing.

Do you have any travel insurance? Some policies may cover redundancy.  I also asume, as self employed, your husband has looked into the government assistance...
