Self employment support scheme - maternity allowance

I'm self employed and as far as I can see I meet all the criteria for the self employment income support scheme. Like many people, my work dried up almost completely after the first week of March. HOWEVER, I am 38 weeks pregnant and was due to start receiving maternity allowance on the 6th April (£151 a week - i.e., just enough to cover rent and council tax and not much more).

Does anyone know a) if being on maternity allowance will make me ineligible for the income support scheme, b) if so, should I/can I cancel my maternity allowance at this late stage?
