Furlough - everyone treated equally?

Hello,

I was just wondering if anybody knew if there was any expectation that all staff (in a single company) being furloughed should be treated on the same terms?  I’m hearing of employees in my company being offered 80%+20% top up and some just 80%

Thanks.

I'm not a lawyer, but while there should be a clear, consistently-applied policy determining who is selected for furlough, individuals pay levels, etc., I don't believe that equality of outcome across all employees can necessarily be expected.
