I have a really slow laptop, which I only purchased three years ago, specifically for photo editing.
It is an HP Notebook 17" SRTJ7Q1N (I cannot find that ref anywhere)
Spec:
AMD8-7050 Radeon R5
6 Compute Cores 2C + 4G 2.2GHz Inst RAM 8.00 GB
64 bit x 64 processor
Storage Win (c:) 918GB
Running Windows 10
It is incredibly slow and having read a few articles, is it possible that there is too much "bloatware", unwanted apps. taking up valuable space?

Cheers guys, this thing is so much slower than my Argos Zoostorm desktop, I will carry out those checks ASAP.

I couldn't believe it, when I found Avast on there yesterday, when I have had Norton installed from the start.

Windows 10? You don't need any 3rd party AV ... Windows Defender is perfectly fine. (If you're using a 3rd party app because it is an Internet Security Suite, and you actually use the security features the suite offers, then OK. Otherwise you still don't need it).

Horrible device. Ok, not quite horrible. But a relatively poor CPU and a pig to get open to insert a much needed solid state drive.
