Self employed income support scheme.

I am self employed and very grateful for the self employed income support scheme.
However, two of the three years (2016/17 & 2017/18) that the average profit is being calculated on, I was unfortunately unable to work much or at all as I was incapacitated awaiting and then recovering from spinal surgery. My profit in 2018/19 is a truer reflection of my annual profit as I was able to return to work. Will there be any way that this can be taken into account for the amount paid via the support scheme as my payment is going to be significantly affected by this if not and will not be a true representation of my current monthly income?

There is nothing in the guidance to suggest you can, however who knows what the final position will be, keep an eye on further announcements.1

It doesn't look like HMRC will disregard your declared profits from those two prior tax years, assuming you filed a tax return for both of them. It might be worth ringing them after the scheme has been set up and you've been notified that you're eligible for payments to get the official position.
Lawyer in training, but I am not legally qualified yet.1
