Tax back on long dead relative ppi

My dear mum died nearly 17 years ago. I unearthed an old credit file. MBNA have without fuss handed me a much needed 3.5k.The tax is nearly 400 quid. Can I claim this back like other ppi tax?

Many thanks. I would have thought it was her estate which was too small for IH. However I never expected to get 3k!!
