Furlough....,,

My partner’s company furloughed a few of her colleagues. She wasn’t furloughed and is expected to work, which is fine. She asked the question of what happens if she gets sick...the answer was standard SSP would apply. So her colleagues get to stay at home, risk free with 80% pay but she’s putting herself out there, putting herself at risk - and may go down with the virus - but will only then get £94 a week. Is this right?????! Many thanks!

From the outside yes this is correct but the question is do others doing the same job go in or they off with 80%pay if there off then raise the question if there in then ride it out and hope for the best you could even try asking if they could rotate and do 1 week in at a time1
