Magnum Claims

I have had a message from Magnum Claims in Manchester to say my tax reclaim has been successful and they have banked a cheque from HMRC on my behalf but are now asking me to contact them with my bank details to make a payment to my bank account....I don't want to do this obviously, anyone else had this? Advice please

Did you actually pay employ someone to post your form to HMRC?

Sounds like a scam. 

Even if you had employed Magnum Claims to post your Tax claim for you, there is no way they would be sent your  cheque from HMRC as  that would be sent direct to you. 

Under no circumstance should  you send them your bank details nor pay any money upfront to this firm. 

If you haven't actually employed this firm, then I suggest you send all such future messages to SPAM.
