My wife paid in full (£494) for two events for 5 people at a local restaurant, Neither of these will now happen and in fact one date has already passed, I requested a refund and they tell me it is not their policy and i can book again for NEXT year, apart from the fact that this is not convenient, two of the party ore 85 and 87 and without being morbid may not be here next year.
Am i entitled to a refund ?
Thanks

Yes (breach of contract) but most likely you'll have to issue a pre-action protocol letter and give them 30 days

- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
