New Job Postponed

Hi
I’m looking for advice on what rights I have or what I can claim due to my new job start date being postponed.

I have a contract to start on the 1st April and left my previous role on the 13th March.  The new job has said that I cannot start the job due to everyone working from home and being unable to carry out an induction.

my situation now is that I do not have any income and they have not offered for me to start the role and then just furlough me and pay the 80%.  I don’t know what I can do and spoke to the CAB but they were not much help.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
