Bank closing credit card account

Hi all,

I have received a letter from by bank which states after a review they have decided to close my account which will happen in 60 days from the latter date ..
I would like to enquire, can the bank do this? I do have a high balance due to be paid back to bank - what happens to that?
Bank has not provided any option to appeal against it.
thanks,

    Yes, they can do that.

You'll just need to continue to repay in accordance with the terms.

    Thanks zx81 for replying.
Apologies for being naive .. where and how will I make a payment if the account gets closed?

The same way as you currently do.  The options are normally shown on your statements - online, debit card, faster payment, DD, cheque, cash at post office etc.

You can carry on paying in exactly the same way you are paying now which, presumably, is direct debit.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.
