Deferring payment and credit reference agencies

During the current Coronavirus crisis, all the financial institutions from banks to mortgage companies are allowing people to defer or reduce payments, but what of the credit reference agencies? are they still recording late, missing payments etc and thus affecting peoples credit score? or are they going to allow these defaults during the current crisis so they do not have an impact on your credit score?

It's the lenders who report, so you need to check with them.  The CRAs will simply apply the data.

Any changes in the credit score are irrelevant, as only the account data will be seen - it's up to each lender to interpret it.  It's reasonable to expect that this current period will be particularly factored into risk decisions.
