NHS Furlough

Hi Martin,
Looking for advice. I'm an NHS worker, 24 weeks pregnant. My husband is also a front line worker. We have a child who is 20 months and I have been at home the past two weeks on planned annual leave. Her nursery is closed and grandparents are isolating. Do I have the right to furlough? Having had some discussion with my managers they are offering unpaid leave, using annual leave or working from home (not viable with a small child and a husband on shift work). Any help would be appreciated!

NHS and public sector don't have the same access to the furlogh scheme. They are expected to redeploy instead of furlough.0

Even if Hermann said:NHS and public sector don't have the same access to the furlogh scheme. They are expected to redeploy instead of furlough."The government expects that the scheme will not be used by many public sector organisations, as the majority of public sector employees are continuing to provide essential public services or contribute to the response to the coronavirus outbreak.Where employers receive public funding for staff costs, and that funding is continuing, we expect employers to use that money to continue to pay staff in the usual fashion – and correspondingly not furlough them."
