Change of hours/days

I have been told i have to do shifts and weekends even though im a single mother of 4 daughters and have nobody to have them.apart from if i can get a school place

The question comes back to what is in your contract of employment. If there is provision to do "reasonable" overtime, then you are obliged to make efforts to comply. If what they are asking is "unreasonable" then you have to take the matter up with your line manager or HR through your company's normal HR processes.

- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
