Wages / Benefits

Hi, so I did work 16hrs week in pub until we closed on Saturday 21st March. I was due to get paid tomorrow but manager is saying I'm not getting paid & have to wait for the government scheme to come live. Surly they can't do that & have to pay us this month's pay as the pub only closed last week & they should have funds to pay staff this month...?
Also I'm not entitled to universal credit as I get working tax credits, I also get the disability element of child tax credits which stops me from claiming universal credit, what do I do now?

The job retention scheme reimburses employers. They are still obliged to pay you when your wages are due under your contract.0
