Night shift

Hi. My husband works permanent night shift and gets a guaranteed allowance on his monthly salary for this. Will this be taked into consideration on his furloughed pay. Reading the government website it says his usual monthly salary from this month last year, so I've read this as the shift allowance should be included? Is this correct? Thank you

On the basis that this isn't a bonus or commission payment then I'd tend to agree, though I'd suggest specifically confirming with HR what their view is.0

If he has regular earnings above minimum base pay and it's been like that for over a year then we expect the 80%+ would be calculated on that.0
