Self-Employed via PAYE only.

Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me, I'm a freelancer and according to HMRC still registered as self-employed but have not completed a self assessment (Nor have been asked to) due to being paid via PAYE only. I work for multiple employers none of which I am contracted to other than that particular period of work of which I may be booked, it has been the same 3 employers for the last 6 months or so.
My question and confusion is whether I am eligible for either the grant for the self employed or furlough via my PAYE employers. It's difficult to know which if any is the best route for me to take as I sit somewhere in between the two? And worried about waiting for HMRC to contact me to find out they never will.
Thank you,
David

If you haven't completed a self assessment return for 2018/19 you will not be eligible for the self employment grant. You could only be furloughed by an employer if you were on their payroll on 28 February 2020.0
