Fixed Term PAYE not eligible?

Hi, I have been working at my company for 18 months PAYE fixed term contract, due end 31 July. An events company, so all business stopped, no income. I have been advised that as no-one knows how long the closure will last, and considering the impending end date of my contract, my role deemed not appropriate to furlough. The latter in response to my question why not furlough me on 80%.
Anyone know if is there a risk to the company that HMRC might reject a furlough claim for me, because I am not going back to work for them when its all over because my contract would have fizzled out. Thanks!
