Cancelling a contract with Carphone Warehouse

My daughter bought a new iphone on a contact from Carphone Warehouse last week. Circumstances have changed and she wants to return the phone and cancel the contract. Under their T&C this is allowed within 14 days.

To do so she needs to contact them by telephone. Problem is, the call center is based in India which is under lockdown. The message on their website has not changed since last week claiming they would re open on 26th March. This has not happened.

She has sent emails which have not been acknowledged and the webchat facility is not working.I appreciate the current situation is unusual, but there seems to be no contingency for the call center being shut.

How can she cancel her contract if she can't get through to them?

Was it an online or in store contract ? 

From memory there's no cooling off for in-store ?

On line. Contract taken out by phone. Definitely a cooling off period
