Hi guys just a quick one with this scheme is there a particular order for this I.e does my boss pay me then claim it back or can they wait until the government gives them the money and they paying us resulting in a wait for payment?

    Your PAYE earnings should continue as normal but at 80% rate.

    However if employer does not have the cash to do so, or chooses not to, the reality may be that the pay is not transferred until the payment comes through to the employer from HMRC.

    There appears to be no additional employee protection if companies absorb the HMRC payment and do not pay wages.
