I really dont understand tbh. Ive filled in online application and have told them waiting for uc decision, thats on local council website. Just to send relevent documents by a deadline apparently.
Me and my partner are honestly clueless hes not been out of work for about 12 years has always managed to walk into a new job but obviously strange times at moment

UC includes the housing element, which has replaced housing benefit, child elements, carers element and the stand element for yourself and your partner. It doesn't include, carers allowance, DLA or Council tax reduction. Your carers allowance will be deducted £1 for £1 from the UC amount.A benefit calculator will tell you what you maybe entitled to. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/

The application you have made to your Council will most likely be assessed for Council Tax Reduction, not Housing Benefit.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1
