pressure gauge flickering on boiler

When at temperature, the small pressure gauge fickers quite loudly on my Ideal classic boiler.
Does anyone know the likely cause of something like this?
Its happened before, and I opened (more) the lockshied end of one of the rads and it stopped - but this may have just been luck.
However not this time, the flickering is just a bit disconcerting and I'm wondering if I can ignore it or whether I need to take some action.
Thanks!
